I thought I should try on this one too, maybe?
I did a bit of researching around the sumi-e technique and found it pretty interesting! I don't think I had tried it before, but I liked the result really much.. though I think I worked it more than I needed, like.. amking it maybe a bit too dirty!
I wish I had a more thin brush. Maybe a celestial brush, haha.
As for the pic, I wanted to do something not common, yet, not anything "ohhh", since many submission were like, just some Ammy poses and such, I wanted a dynamic pose for mine too, but the wolf alone would be just too common..
So I remembered this awesome boss, that is Orochi, that after you fight him there is a fucking kick ass drawing in the monster scroll list, So I decided making something as detailed as him.. again, my brush ruined any attempt of detailing there D: (my scanner won't fit bigger sheets than a4.. and I didn't ant to cut the paper, or have it damaged.. so I sticked to a4)
I liked the result, I hope you do as well!
The 300dpi file is kind of huge, but should be worth it!
Lineart: ink brush
Colors: Photoshop CS2
