Thought I'd also share the frames I worked with for the character.
I KNOW most look terrible, but I will give my reasons, being them the low amount of time to do the project the main, but also inexperience in the sense of I had it in plan of making the sprites being like.. half the size of a Ryu regular sprite, but actually he's nearly that size now, so many details I had cut off which would look ok in a tiny sprite, now look very bad compared to bigger stuff.
Also, the comic panel sprites look very bad, but that's because of the time really, I made those yesterday while I still had everything to code, so I didn't refine as I could. The reason that they aren't in the quality that the Big Portrait is, is: I wanted it to share palletes. So, if you change the color scheme, the panels also change, and while a bigger quality could be achieved even for this purpose, I didn't have time to set a bigass 90 color stuff into a 10 color pallete.
So well, thats it, I hope you like this!
Sort of both! I ended up making a new pallete along with HD panels for the comics pieces, and a set for Pun Kroc, and turned it into my graduation project, but it stopped as a project, as my Mac cant use Mugen editing programs (I had to go to home city just to use them) while the coding and testing can still be done on mac.
I used to do it in paint, but since the mac doesn't have it, I'm now using photoshop!
It also allow sme to cheat haha!
