Hm, I dunno if I should wait till I submit the stuff to the site, but a bit of critcism before couldn't hurt, I guess, it's not a battle or anything.
Here's page 1, just finished it. I'll probably start the pencils for page 2 today yet. I think this ambient is the most tough I've attempted so far, a rainy early morning. I think I need to try exploring better the mix between paintings and cellshading, since with the cell alone, it didnt get obvious about the wet part. (read ground) Keep moving forward! |

I'm not really seeing the wet, early morning though. I would think the sky would be grayer if it was rainy. Baby blue sky gives a feeling of sunny afternoon-ish. I noticed some spelling mistakes, dunno if you caught em already, but: panel two, I think you meant "...a strange occurrence". last panel, a missing H in "thickens".
I love the colors though, not sure they set the tone you wanted but I'm not really suggesting you change em.
Hm, I tried googling a reference when i coloured this, but now that you mention, the one I used was probably wrong haha! And thanks for the headsup on the speech, I'll fix them aswell!!
