Hm, I dunno if I should wait till I submit the stuff to the site, but a bit of critcism before couldn't hurt, I guess, it's not a battle or anything.
Here's page 1, just finished it. I'll probably start the pencils for page 2 today yet.
I think this ambient is the most tough I've attempted so far, a rainy early morning. I think I need to try exploring better the mix between paintings and cellshading, since with the cell alone, it didnt get obvious about the wet part. (read ground)

PIXEL...Uuuuuh...
I'm not really seeing the wet, early morning though. I would think the sky would be grayer if it was rainy. Baby blue sky gives a feeling of sunny afternoon-ish. I noticed some spelling mistakes, dunno if you caught em already, but: panel two, I think you meant "...a strange occurrence". last panel, a missing H in "thickens".
I love the colors though, not sure they set the tone you wanted but I'm not really suggesting you change em.
Hm, I tried googling a reference when i coloured this, but now that you mention, the one I used was probably wrong haha! And thanks for the headsup on the speech, I'll fix them aswell!!
