Grim Leaper #1! - More reviews!

Hey there guys! Whoa, it's been over an year since the last journal I posted.
Well, 2011 was super crazy... worked a lot with illustration as an in-house illustrator at Editora Abril, a major brazillian magazine publisher. And left it as well!
It was an insane work schedule, generally working from 10am to 8pm, THEN drawing comic pitches by night till 0am. And restarting 7am till 9am. Before going to work. Sure was stressful. BUUUT then my buddy Kurtis Wiebe and I managed to score a pitch with Image which you by now know as Grim Leaper, and I chose to left my job to work full time on comics.
I'm currently working in Grim Leaper and in an yet unannounced comic with Zuda veterans Johnny Zito and Tony Trov. You'll know more on that very soon.

Talking about Grim Leaper, number 1 is soon out, and the first reviews are starting to pop up. Here are the reviews so far:

Olá!

Gosto muito dos seus trabalhos, talvez principalmente pela influencia de video game nas pinturas (viewtful joe, por exemplo) e queria perguntar algumas coisas,s e não for incomodar...

Eu ainda sou bem novo na área das artes (tudo bem que trabalho num studio de produção de artes e design, mas ainda é recente) e meu objetivo para logo é atuar no meio dos quadrinhos. Tenho lá minhas idéias, algumas mais paupáveis que quero tentar lançar.
Primeiro, não me convém super-heróis, então mandar projetos (nem sei se é assim que rola) para editoras americanas como DC e Marvel a princípio não faz a minha cara.
Eu sei de algumas editoras brasileiras que tentaria enviar, tbm vejo muitos fazendo independentes e conheço alguns que ainda estão na fase de "projeto" que me chamaram, mas nada certo.
Por essa dúvida, e tbm, para me ajudar praticando algo invés de ficar parado, pensei em fazer um blog onde postaria meus estudos/testes de pgs de HQs.

Queria saber, assim, algumas dicas para fundamentar uma HQ, desde como saber mostrar o projeto (e para quem), à forma como vc se sustenta enquanto produz a HQ (pelo que li, vc é freelancer. Eu faço alguma coisinha ou outra, mas bem pouca, tbm me interessa), etc.

Sir! You still traditional inking, or have you been messing with digital? I still envy your style, and wish to try some of your techniques some time. Any kind of tuts would be THE SHIT, but any pointers/guidelines you got could come in handy. It's been faaaar too long since I've gotten my art on, and I've been unable to look away from your gallery lately. Like, more than usual. It rules so much, and you deserve every bit of the praise you get. Keep it up!

And uh... Help me knock off my art rust. Haha. :P

Hey judas! I still draw a lot of trad, but I like messing with the liens on ps, like coloring over and etc. I wish I had any tutorials, though most thing ive done in the past are tutorials from dA's own library.. but i have no idea of where to find them now. But it's mostly scanning tips.. and schemes about how to draw with colored leads pencils.
You need to come back man, what you've been up to??
